Shadow Daddies

Jordan Baughman Season 3 Episode 3

Jordan and Devonnie are back to bring you their most anticipated trope: Shadow Daddies. These are morally grey, brooding, possesive, weidlers of shadow magic who usually are only soft for the women they love. You've probably heard the term "shadow daddy" when readers describe popular characters like Xaden from Fourth Wing, Dorian Havilliard from Throne of Glass and Azriel from ACOTAR. But these MMC's are only the beginning to what a fictional man can do with their shadows.

Devonnie:

Welcome to Romance Recs where romance obsessed besties sharing book recs broken down by genres and tropes so you can be sure you're getting exactly what you want out of your next read. Hey guys, Dev here. I am actually currently reading a bunch of books. I'm listening to two, so I'm listening to What Fury brings by Tricia Levin seller. And then I'm also listening to The Damned by Harper L Woods. Those are two alcs. I'm very excited. I know, I'm so sorry, Jordan, I'm so sorry. But I did get a proof from that alc, and I'm very excited. I started the damned, but then I kind of stopped because that needs my full attention. And since I'm also, I started what Fury brings first. I'm gonna pause.

Jordan:

Okay, And hi, I'm Jordan,

Devonnie:

Yeah.

Jordan:

I am currently listening to the Serpent and the Wolf by Rebecca Robinson. So good, and I'm listening to the Complete Flirting with Monsters series by Eva Chase.

Devonnie:

Do I know that one? Oh, no. I've read Eva Chase before. I read her The Wonderland, the like, yeah. Okay. That's why that's familiar.

Jordan:

and it's, good. it's good. It's just on a hinged enough, I appreciate.

Devonnie:

Yeah. Yeah. I think even Chase got some unhinged ones for sure.

Jordan:

And speaking of unhinged, what are we talking about today? Because the whole concept is pretty unhinged

Devonnie:

favorite. Okay. Today's episode is brought to you by Shadow Daddies. I am so excited to talk about Shadow daddies. I love love. Shadow, jet, shadow, daddies. And here's the thing, folks. Real quick because, these are not gonna be like super uber popular shadow daddies. We're not talking about Zaden. I know. Boohoo, cry me River. Find someone else who has, they're

Jordan:

that will talk to you about that one.

Devonnie:

Plenty. Yeah. Like, and it's

Jordan:

Dorian Haard.

Devonnie:

No. And Dorian is Daddy for real. Like, I love, do I post possession? Dorian Prepos like no. POS post possession. Dorian, I love him down Bad. Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be talking about him today. You do. You get what? We're wanna introduce you to some new shadow daddies. Okay.

Jordan:

And I will say there's finding good shadow daddies. For me, there are some prerequisites to earn that title. Just because shadows are involved doesn't always make you daddy, and I'm gonna say, preface this with, I hate the term daddy personally for me okay. I hate it so much. This is the only situation in which I personally will use Daddy in this way. I just, no judgment on others. That's just for me. But Shadow Daddy is it I will say that the book I'm reading, the Serpent and the Wolf is Shadow Mommy.

Devonnie:

And we love that. We do love that.

Jordan:

Love seeing a woman in a male dominated field. It's

Devonnie:

right, right. Women in stem or women in morally gray. I don't know, whatever. One of the books I'm reading it she's not a shadow mommy. She hasn't really stepped into that power, but she does have shadows and she's a girl as well. So, okay. I know at this time you're waiting for a quote from one of our books, but I unfortunately am not gonna give you a quote. I'm gonna give you a bit of a rant. The thing with me reading shadow daddies and looking for shadow daddies and scouring my previous reads, is that I do not have any black shadow daddies. Not one, not a one. I'm really excited for Davenports. Our vicious oaths, I think is the name of the book. It comes out next month because that's a black shadow daddy, but I have not been able to find black shadow daddies. If you are listening and you have like a mega list, you're like, girl, where are you looking? Please let me know. Please, I am begging you. I just want to read some black shadow daddies. I would really

Jordan:

there's been a big attempt made to find

Devonnie:

Yes. I'm trying so hard, like I don't, the thing is, it's not, I can't even tell you. Oh, I've read some and they've been bad. I have not read a black shadow. Daddy, I can't find them. So please, if you know any wrecks please let me know. And like I said, look out for any Davenports book in next month. I think it comes out October 28th. So yeah, that's exciting, but sad. Boo. Tomato. Tomato we're the, yeah.

Jordan:

We've done this before. I will give you a quote. It's from an A LC that I listened to recently and I absolutely loved it. So here is a bonus rec from our episode. Time.'cause our last episode was dark academia and then I found another dark academia. Oops. So this is from Spellcaster by Jaymin Eve. Repeat after me. We don't fuck Bad Boys. Bell opened her mouth and then slammed it shut. Sorry. I can't, my programming is preventing me from lying and it's just so, it's so fun.

Devonnie:

I love that. She's like, no, I can't agree.

Jordan:

And I have one more just because it was just so fun and the found family, and this was amazing. Murder or not? Maybe you two should bang it out first. Imagine the hate. Fucking, that's way too fine a warlock to waste as a nemesis if there's no hate. Fucking, I mean, and isn't that all we ever want when we read these? Yes.

Devonnie:

Yes. Don't waste any warlocks. Save the kingdom. Write a warlock, or whatever it is that the people

Jordan:

Yeah.

Devonnie:

You know what I'm saying?

Jordan:

I mean, and I feel like we don't, even in enemies to lovers, we don't see enough genuine hate fucking, Just don't see that enough.

Devonnie:

Yeah.

Jordan:

It's a, anyways, that turned into a rant, But that's fine.

Devonnie:

right When enemies to lovers before, when they get to like the lovers part, they're well and truly actually lovers, but we need to see more. I hate you, you know, just a little bit more.

Jordan:

Yeah. Yummy.

Devonnie:

Okay. So right like next. My first rec, I'm sorry, I was trying to decide I'm just gonna mention this one. So the Games, God's Play by Abigail Owen this is like a Hades retelling the entire Olympus crew, if you know them, you know, Zeus. Deme all the people, right? All of the gods. It's one of those retellings in a modern city and there are trials, there's champions, there's selecting the next God king, essentially. Hades is a shadow daddy. Now I'm just quickly mentioning him, just because Hades does not use his shadows to his, to what we expect. Of course, he uses them to be violent, but even here's my stipulation for shadow daddy. His shadows need to be used indiscriminately when killing, like I am talking about, you touch this woman the wrong way, and now you're blown to Smith Reeds by shadows. You know what I'm saying? Like, I need him to be so aggressive with this power. And so e that and the like, shadow play. Like, that's nice, but like for me, I really need the shadows to be another character, to be like working overtime. So in the games, got the games, gods play Hades, I feel like. Need to turn it up a notch. There is a book too. Hopefully we'll see more shadows in that one. I just I need it a little bit more, but if you are into, you know, the whole Olympus vibe, then I think it's a pretty cool one for you to read. I really loved the challenges in that one, so, yeah.

Jordan:

That's interesting because I have a rec from Abigail Owen. This one is the Liar's Crown Dominion's. Book one. Okay, so this one was interesting and I have not read book two yet just because I had so many other things on my plate that I had to get to. I will get back to book two though. Because the tag of this is some shadows protect you, others will kill you. Is about, in this world, this kingdom. Every like generation or two, the next queen is born. But what people don't know is that the queen is always a twin but they hide the second twin, and her only purpose is basically to sacrifice herself for her sister. So she's a stand in, she's the body. Double in tricky situations or when contentions are high, or like for public appearances, right, where there's a chance that they could be harmed. Or, if. Assassination plot actually comes down on the actual queen. No one will find out, and the other princess will take her place. So like this has been happening for generations. And so this follows the hidden Princess. The one that has been living in secret. I mean, like they have, she has a secret like closet room in her sister's room where she stays sometimes when she's actually at the castle. Other times she goes to this outlying town. I mean it's, there's portals, so there is some magic. It's, this is wild. Okay. what happens is their grandma the queen dies and this king from a neighboring kingdom. This really shitty one. Obviously he's

Devonnie:

Obviously as they are.

Jordan:

No, this one's actually horrible. This is the actual horrible, bad guy, not the like broody. Oh, that's the bad guy. This is like the actual asshole.

Devonnie:

Right

Jordan:

No,

Devonnie:

Bad.

Jordan:

like yeah, so bad. He,

Devonnie:

My God, I'm so.

Jordan:

He sends a gift right? To the new queen, but like something changes in her. Anyways, there's all this weird stuff. I'm trying to even remember what happens at the beginning to make her leave. anyways, so on the eve of the coronation, switches out with her sister, right? But this shadow being kidnaps her, who he thinks is the new queen. And so he takes her by mistake because no one knows that there's a body double. She tries to escape him'cause he portals to this like very wild realm. I guess realm kingdom, they're all in the same, it's not really a realm. I've been reading a lot of books with realms lately. Excuse me. So she tries to escape. But through that different lies are uncovered hers and this shadow rath that takes her. So this like it. I can't talk a lot about this shadow daddy without revealing the big secret

Devonnie:

Okay.

Jordan:

of this shadow. And we're only scratching the surface of him by the end of the book. But he can like shadows. Lots of shadows

Devonnie:

Shadows

Jordan:

a lot. There are a lot of shadows. The political stability is interesting, so this mysterious. Man that takes her for a reason, right? He has his own people that he's trying to take care of. So there are altruistic reasons. Now, this is the, oh, bad guy. Oh yeah. You're kidnapping her. This is that one. Okay. so,

Devonnie:

Yeah, Oh no. Don't kidnap me.

Jordan:

no.

Devonnie:

kidnap me.

Jordan:

the woods as I try to run away. No. Yeah, so it's good. It's it's, yeah. Lots of shadows. And I need someone else to talk to me about the big reveal of the shadows because it's one I haven't read and it is very interesting and I wanna talk logistics, so.

Devonnie:

I actually need you to tell me about it. I don't know if I'm gonna read this, but now I'm actually curious and I wanna find out.

Jordan:

Yeah. after Yeah, we can do that. Yep. And it's a great romantic, so if you're looking for romantic with something, it's, yeah.

Devonnie:

Yeah, I love that. Okay. My next Shadow Daddy wreck is gonna be Ray Knight from the Nightfall Trilogy. Maybe I've mentioned these two before. I feel like I, I talk about the series a lot, but I don't know if I've spoken about them on the podcast either way. The Nightfall Trilogy is written by Chloe c Panda. It is kind of like a. Star cross lovers vibe. There are gods and celestials, but there are also soulless or vampires. Everybody's pretty much fighting to keep the star maiden. Astraya is a star maiden. She is bonded to one person who is an absolute jerk. We do not love him. His gift is like lightning, and then he's a celestial. But then she ends up in a precarious situation where our brooding hero, Ray Knight, has to save her. And in doing so, they end up bonded. So now that's her bonded, like that's, you know, ride or die. They're locked in this life together. Every time they get together though, it causes earthquakes, it causes. Unforeseeable damage to the planet because, yeah, no, because they should not be together. So the actual gods do not want them together. And

Jordan:

skipping Zodiac Academy. Okay.

Devonnie:

yeah, they will literally, yes. Oh yeah. They'll literally break the planet apart just to keep them from being together. That doesn't work clearly. The reason why I am mentioning Knight. So he has three different names. Ray Knight is his given name. That is the name I think his mother gave him. Knight is what he goes by. I think he feels more comfortable with that name or that's like what other people call him. And then his like alter ego. The shadow daddy, part of him is called Knight's Death. Now Ray Knight and Knight is one person. I see them as one person. Knight's death is a completely separate entity. Knight's Death has his own opinions he kills indiscriminately

Jordan:

So, wait, this isn't the same character,

Devonnie:

it. They're the same character, but you know how your powers are part of you.

Jordan:

a multiple personality. So like when the powers come out, he like, there's a shift,

Devonnie:

has to fight. Yes, exactly. Knight has to fight to regain power from Knight's death. Whenever Knight's death emerges, he's like always in the subconscious. And because of Knight's death Knight has these like. Overwhelming abilities. He's feared because of just the depravity that overtakes him when he embraces this side of him. I love that depravity. I fear that Knight's death. At first I was not sure how to feel about

Jordan:

No, you were talking to us about

Devonnie:

yeah, I was. I was like this, it's too much like, what's going on? And then I saw like, it takes a really long time for Chloe to show you night's deaths, like curiosity as a being. I don't wanna give too much away, but you really don't learn as much about Knight Stat separately until you get to the last book in the trilogy o other, throughout the other two books. He's literally just. A part of the story, you don't know much about him. You just know that whenever he takes over, people are going to die. And that is my favorite thing. He does have a little bit of shadow

Jordan:

When everyone die.

Devonnie:

yeah, like honestly, I am telling you a shadow daddy for me is someone who just like, there's no talking and that's how Knight's death is like this gifted. Killer with no humanity. I'm talking about Elena flipping off the switch. Steven, Stephan, flip, slip, flipping off the switch like no humanity just dead behind the eyes. Like, and you, there is no reasoning with that. So if he doesn't like you, he's just going to kill you and he does it like you. You think you love a character knight that doesn't care. He's gone. He's outta here. And I really love that. I think that's my favorite thing. I think of all the books that I mentioned, nights Death has the most overwhelming shadow daddy qualities, like fast, like a vampire. Because he is one with the shadows, he can also portal or step into the void so the shadows can make him travel. The shadows can caress and be soft and, you know, for the person he likes. But yeah, for the most part, he is a shadow daddy. Touch her and die vibes, which is what I need my shadow daddies to have. And I also need the shadow, the reason I mention him too is because I feel like the shadows need to have their own personality as well. Like, or just like bring an extra vibe to the story, which knight step definitely embodies.

Jordan:

Yep. Yeah, I under, I understand that completely. I know, I remember you messaging us about this one and I was so intrigued, but I, when we message about it, we get random bits and pieces,

Devonnie:

right.

Jordan:

I love hearing the whole reasoning.

Devonnie:

The group chat, because I'll just randomly pop in, guys, guess what? And then

Jordan:

Guess what Knight's Death did? And I was like, I thought he was called something different. Okay. I don't understand, but this makes sense now. Okay. Perfect. All right, so for my second feature this is one I saw on shelves for a long time and I was always curious about it, but I never actually picked it up and I finally listened to it and then I had just binged the whole thing So this is a broken blade is book one, and it's from the Halfling Saga by Melissa Blair. I think I gave all these books five stars. I loved them.

Devonnie:

Did you?

Jordan:

Yeah. One of them I think maybe was four'cause it felt like too much filler. But I still loved the filler. I don't, I think filler has a place like I do. Anyways, that's a whole nother thing. This is technically, I think ya. There is spice eventually, but it's not a driving factor, right? It's the bigger plot and story and fantasy is a big part of it. But this follows Kira. She is an assassin. She is a halfling. She, in this kingdom, she is known as the king's blade. So there is this assassin's. School and this whole Assassin's Guild almost. And she is number one.

Devonnie:

Period.

Jordan:

She is. And, but what's heartbreaking is they are there to work for the king who has all but eliminated all half links in all of the kingdom. And she is the one that has to go carry out this justice and basically like kill her people and when I say kill her people, I mean like entire families. It doesn't matter how old or young, it doesn't matter who it doesn't. Like if he points his finger, she goes you obviously learn more. If I give this a five stars, I'm not gonna give you someone that's like actually heartless, I'm going to right. Okay. In book one, there's a mysterious figure in the land causing some trouble for the king he's called the shadow. She is sent to hunt him down. Okay. She has to cross into magical lands of the Faye. The king and the where she's living is all humans, right? But this king has lived for hundreds and hundreds of years and no one quite knows why.'cause he is a human right? But he is not aging anymore.

Devonnie:

Right. Very shady.

Jordan:

So she heads into the magical lands of the Faye. To hunt this shadow. But she also kind of has to figure out like who her real enemy is. She has to figure out where she wants to stand in things. Is she gonna stand up for her people? Is she gonna work undercover? Is she find this shadow? Is the shadow really? It was so good, like the backstories and learning about these characters and the way everything unfolded. I felt like the timing was perfect. I enjoyed the larger story of it all. And you don't really get to the shadow of it until like you learn, like obviously he's called the shadow, but you don't get into the shadows, powers until at least book two I'd say, and moving forward. So, cause that's a part of this person's power. It is his power. And I don't wanna give all these mysteries

Devonnie:

know.

Jordan:

You tried so hard not I know. It's so good. And this MMC and I can't even tell you who the MMC is, but he is so good and I love him so much. And then there's a moment when you absolutely hate him and you are. Gutted. I did not see this twist coming at all. I thought the twist was going this direction, and then it took me over here. I one of the biggest like stomach drop moments that I've ever read, so

Devonnie:

oh my gosh. We love that. We love a surprise and a big

Jordan:

Yeah, I love feeling sick from my, what I read.

Devonnie:

Me too. It's the worst, but it's good.'cause then you're looking at the author like, Ooh, you got me.

Jordan:

yeah, you got me invested. So anyways sorry I can't talk a lot about the shadows, but do yourself a favor and go read a Halfling Saga and let me know what you think.

Devonnie:

yeah. I love that. I, my next rec was actually is a book that or duet that I Duology duet. What are we

Jordan:

It's a book.

Devonnie:

Yeah.

Jordan:

I'm sorry, I,

Devonnie:

No, Dev, it's a box of cereal. Like what? I just please. My uterus is like staging a coup in my body. I just,

Jordan:

light some candles for Dev's uterus,

Devonnie:

please. It is quite literally scrambling my brain. I cannot even think right. It's a book. Good grief. What are we here talking about? Eggs like, oh my God. Oh, The series that I was going to mention. I have actually, I. Mentioned so many times, but I'm gonna just quickly tell you guys about it or convince you to read it. The Shadow Born Duet by Carissa Broadband, it follows AAR Ari and Misha Ier. They are vampires. It's in the Crowns of Axia series. It's book, technically book three and four, but in the universe it's like book five and six, I think. I really love this story. Asar is. Very much so the type of shadow daddy who will obliterate you if you try to keep him from Misha, nothing else. You can provoke him. You can bother him. You can call him names, you could attack him. You can fight him if you so much as grab Misha's, dainty little wrist. If she struggles to pull away from you or says no and you don't back off, AAR is going just absolutely crazy. He's another shadow daddy who's also a vampire. So I don't know, maybe there's a theme. Maybe. I really enjoy vampire shadow daddies. I think that could be a thing. He knows how, he knows his gifts, he knows how to use them. And there's also something, there is something about a vampire biting you, right? We know the bites. Everybody's sticking to the theme of a vampire bite causing like arousal or deep feelings or like. I don't know, suppleness in the body or whatever. That followed by a little bit of shadow work. I mean, I personally don't know what it feels like. You know what I'm saying? I've never come across a vampire like, don't even ask me about it. But I'm just saying I can. Only one can only imagine. It's like taking CBD and then like playing with a toy. I don't know, like just, anyway, so if that wasn't enough to go get you to read the Shadow Born, duology Bike, Issa Broadband babes, I don't know what else I got for you. Go read it them and you don't have to read the first two to read these or any other book, but it is. Wildly helpful. If you do. Back to you, Jordan, your mi your mic is muted.

Jordan:

Could you not hear me yelling that whole time either? God damn.

Devonnie:

no, I saw you.

Jordan:

I was, okay. I'm sorry. My mic was off you guys, because I literally, for the first time in this whole entire goddamn podcast, had to scream, had tears in my eyes, and I had to stand up and walk away from

Devonnie:

She did. I watched that. I did. I watched you walk away. I watched you laugh. Yes.

Jordan:

so sorry you missed my screaming. Okay. Because that would've really added to it. C, B, D, and a little. Okay. My, that's a

Devonnie:

that's not what you

Jordan:

that's a great segue because my whole, the entire next rec feels like you have a, took a little c, b, d and played with your toy

Devonnie:

Yeah.

Jordan:

because no man could ever do what this MC does. I saved the. Most depraved shadow daddy for last.

Devonnie:

Yeah, I think so. I didn't finish this book that you're about to talk about, I think.

Jordan:

Holy shit. Hellfire by Muriel Pomeroy. Okay, this is book one I. I softy enough book two because it got so intense. I needed a break. I just have not gone back yet, but it gets so intense. But some of these scenes have lived with me for over a year, like I'd say like a year and a half, maybe even two years now.

Devonnie:

Two. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Jordan:

Okay, so these are immortal creatures we're talking about. IA leaves. She has to run and escape her home realm, which she is from the perpetual daylight home realm of now I might butcher these words, I'm gonna do my best, eros. It's like a divine, heavenly equivalent, right? But she is like covered in blood. She has done things she has to run for her life this book is Very heavy. You need to read trigger warnings before you read this book. I will say that right now. So she escapes the realm, but she ends up in the opposite realm. I forget what it's called. But it's. Dark. So there's a lot of themes of life and death, good and evil in this. Okay? She makes a deal to be in this next realm. She gives up her immortality and her powers, her power was light. And she becomes immortal, right? In a realm full of immortals. So she makes a deal, she gives her soul in exchange for seven days. In the devil's realm, AK is the ruler of the Nephilim, He sees her as his new pet. Okay. So he wants to like. Basically rub it in everyone's face that he has this new little pet. This man's shadows. Talk about killing indiscriminately. Talk about fucking indiscriminately in the dirtiest filthiest ways. Okay. Lot of c nnc. A lot of dubious consent. I mean, Really well written. I think the writing was really good. Personally, I really enjoyed reading it. It just got really dark, so the content was sometimes if it becomes a lot and I need to take breaks. But the one scene, the one, I mean, a lot of scenes stuck with me, but this one scene

Devonnie:

wonder if it's the same

Jordan:

probably they are at a party. And I can't remember what this man did that was so bad. But he was so bad. And so our MMC comes up och, I don't know how you would pronounce that necessarily, but basically confronts the situation, makes a big spectacle in the middle of this dance floor crowded. And he starts. Fucking her with his shadows holding her there while he's slowly choking this other man out to death. And he says, the only way he'll live is if you come before he dies in front of the whole God damn party. And I'm not gonna tell you if she comes or not before he

Devonnie:

right.

Jordan:

But this man, oh wait, maybe he touched her because she was dancing with him, right? It was consensual. It wasn't that he did anything bad. He touched what was his'cause she's

Devonnie:

Yeah. I think it was more like, he probably told her, don't let anyone touch you or something. Or like,

Jordan:

dancing with him though. I think she was trying to Find some autonomy and then he's like, fuck that. You're my pet. Your soul, literal soul literally belongs to me.

Devonnie:

Right.

Jordan:

So fucked up.

Devonnie:

Yeah.

Jordan:

it, I was very dis disturbed. Now, going back after the things I've read, I feel like I could handle it better because when I read that, I was like still newer to Dark

Devonnie:

down. Yeah. I had to put the book out. I was like, wait a minute. In front of everybody, wait, and the man

Jordan:

and you just start fucking her with your shadows. Those shadows can do anything, let me tell you. and they do everything. They do anything and everything.

Devonnie:

Yeah. He's probably the darkest, yeah, the darkest shadow daddy that I've

Jordan:

Oh yeah.

Devonnie:

I think he, even with knight's death being the way he is, even with Asar, I think he takes the cake because he's unhinged.

Jordan:

sexually.

Devonnie:

Yeah, right. That's like a weapon for him.

Jordan:

And there's a lot of, there's a lot of sex in this.

Devonnie:

So much. There's, I was tired. I was like, good God. Let her rest. Please.

Jordan:

Oh,

Devonnie:

Yeah.

Jordan:

talk about lighting a candle for someone's uterus. I mean, light a

Devonnie:

Right, right,

Jordan:

because she is

Devonnie:

right.

Jordan:

ooh, and she's practically mortal now. She doesn't even have her powers. Just try to keep up with the God of death.

Devonnie:

Right. Poor thing I didn't

Jordan:

of her pussy. RIP.

Devonnie:

The, yeah. RIP for sure. I need to look back into reading book two'cause I want to see how it ends. I think Book two is the final book. Right.

Jordan:

I'd have to double check. I think so. I, and I feel like Helfyre is one that you see around, at least for a while. We were seeing it around a lot, but I never, I didn't feel like a lot of people actually read it. I felt like

Devonnie:

Reddit.

Jordan:

Like here and there.

Devonnie:

Right.

Jordan:

I need to go back, but I'd have to reread from the beginning'cause there's so much lore. So there is a lot of political intrigue and a lot of mystery and so it's really cool the larger books. So like stepping back from all the Sex and smut and I like, there is a lot bigger picture happening

Devonnie:

a lot of politics happening in the background. Yeah.

Jordan:

I'd say not even in the background, it's happening in tandem with.

Devonnie:

With everything else that's happening. Yeah. And it has a good bunch of like found family characters too, like a little ragtag crew. So that's

Jordan:

Who? Who are also fucking

Devonnie:

Yeah, all the time. Everybody is, it's not just the two main characters at any given point and they don't care.

Jordan:

That's fun. Yeah.

Devonnie:

fire.

Jordan:

So that is, those are our shadow daddies and I just special mentions of course we love the Draven Brothers from J Bree bonds at Ty series. That was probably the first shadow daddies I read that did fun things with their shadows, like North can get it.

Devonnie:

Yeah.

Jordan:

So, spark of the ever flame Luther.

Devonnie:
